The works comprised of the partial demolition of the existing Lochaline Primary School and the construction of a new school facility with integrated fire station in the lower level, all tying in with retained elements of the existing facility.

The retained elements comprised of the assembly hall and nursery with the former subject to a comprehensive refurbishment and the latter receiving new sanitary ware and decorations.

External works include the creation of an energy centre, new parking and access, new multi use games area, soft landscaping, fencing and associated services.
